A Day Without War
What do Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro and Evo Morales all have in common? Besides a nice tan? They all “concern” Donald Rumsfeld.
I’m sure Donny has a lot to be concerned about. They are likely to support terrorism and almost certainly are planning to overthrow the US government. Of course Donny should be worried. Here’s what he had to say.
“[Chavez] is a person who was elected legally, just as Adolf Hitler was elected legally and then consolidated power,” he said.
“Now [Chavez] is of course working closely with [Cuban President] Fidel Castro and [Bolivian President Evo] Morales and others.
“It concerns me.”
So let me get this straight. Chavez is like Hitler. Now he is working with Castro, Morales, and “others”. I guess I need to correct my original conclusion. They are not planning on overthrowing the US government. Instead, Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia and “Other” are going to systematically exterminate a large portion of their popultion, they are going to invade neighbouring countries claiming historical jurisdiction and rights, and they are each going to fight a war on two fronts, one of which will be in Russia.
Seriously, how is it possible that the people of the US put up with the crap that comes out of Rumsfeld’s mouth? Forget Carolyn Parish folks, Rumsfeld is the real deal. George W Bush should be impeached for allowing Rumsfeld to come within 1km of the Whitehouse.
So I pose a question to the 6 people in the US that follow real news (and no, the Super Bowl is not real news). Does Rumsfeld really think that a Hitleresque threat is building in the Southern Americas, or does he have alternative motives such as *gasp* the oil reserves of Venezuela?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. To Donny Rumsfeld, a day without war is a day without sunshine.
