wow, Emma May gets her first haircut and looks all grown up. Emma kept getting really bad tangles in the back of her hair.

Grady got his hair cut yesterday and it looks damn sharp. I guess he wanted it cut because he’s joining the forces?

A couple of weeks ago while visiting the folks in Invermere I had the chance to go fishing with my buddy John Z.

I’m thinking about tying some flies, and I put together a page that lists flies I’ve typically used over the last few years.

I watched Apocalypto last night. It was a pretty disturbing movie, I really was hoping for a lot more. I didn’t know much about the movie prior to watching it, all I knew was the Mayan setting.

Well, several months after finish the kayak we finally got it into the water two weekends agp. Such is life when you are busy with little kids!

Last Saturday we had a big 4th birthday bash for Grady. It had a little bit of everything: two cakes, scavenger hunt, tons of presents, a bbq, beer and face painting.

I guess we decided to keep the Nikon Coolpix S500. It is easier to carry around and the picture quality is quite good.
