I now basically have the frame together for the Interlude.

Prior to starting the stripping on the Freedom 15 canoe, I thought I’d try and rig together the frame of a skin-on-frame kayak.
I spent the weekend ripping strips for the Freedom. The stock wood I used was 9 boards of 6”x3/4”x19’, from old growth tight clear western red cedar.
I caught my first fish of 2007 on the weekend. These were actually the first fish that I have caught in several years.
I finished steam bending the stems for the Freedom 15. It was really easy. I grabbed our kitchen kettle and taped down the on switch to keep the kettle boiling.
dryfly got hacked yesterday, along with alpinevisions and the dryfly gallery. I would describe more about the hack, but then that would partially validate some of the hacker’s intentions…
Starchoice has 2 new channels in its lineup. As a starchoice customer, I now get GolTV and WFN. GolTV is Canada’s only 24hr soccer channel which carries games from Spain, Italy, Germany, Brazil and others.
I was doing some woodwork 9 days and got a splinter in my finger. So I pulled it out. My finger still hurt afterwords and it got kind of swollen.
