No time for a post. But I’m betting on Italy.

Today’s pick is easier and less complicated than yesterday’s. Germany has been playing a complete game, with strength in all areas of the pitch.

This should be a really interesting match. On one hand there is the control, skill and experience of Spain and on the other side there is the explosiveness and threat of Ronaldo.

I guess I better get this down in writing before the games start! Czech Republic vs. Portugal: Czech. I don’t know if I’m picking them because I’m not a fan of this year’s Portugeuse team, or if I really think the Czechs will be the better team.

I have to admit: I can’t wait for summer to come. I really want to exercise more and I seem to be in a real rut.

It’s a beauty out there this morning, the air is crisp and it was quiet. And hey, no rain. Unfortunately I will end up most of the day working on my masters.

I guess it was inevitable after 15 years… Most road shoes don’t have the two mounting holes for spd pedals anymore.

After a few trials and errors I finally sewed the skin on my sof kayak. It only took two years of the kayak hanging under our deck in order for me to start the process.

I went on my old cycling club’s weekend ride this morning (edit: this post was drafted on Aug.29). It was kind of cool because it was almost a type of reunion ride.

Yesterday I had a pretty good night of viewing with my 6" newtonian telescope. I managed to see many galaxies including M51 (the Whirlpool Galaxy), M101, M106, M31 (the Andromeda Galaxy) and a cool look at the pair of M81 and M82.
