I’ve been trying to convince my buddy Al that he needs to start bike training with power. You see, Al foolishly signed up for next year’s GranFondo, which is essentially a 120km bike race.
I was livid after hearing Peter Cowley in today’s broadcast of Grading Teachers. There are so many problems with his argument it is difficult to know where to begin.
I’m not one to really do the pros and cons on Windows (7) and Mac OSX. In fact, I think that on most accounts the two operating systems are essentially the same.

Last night I ventured out to a secret site for viewing the night sky. Okay, I don’t know if it’s an actual secret, but it’s certainly out of the way.
I finally really finished the canoe today! I hadn’t coated the inside of the canoe until this week, but timing and weather made it happen.
Last night was the first time in ages which I’ve had my telescope out and looking at the night sky. The conditions were pretty good for Vancouver and I had my dob set up on the back deck.
